Louisville, KY – Police officials released a statement, saying that on May 15th, 2024, the Department’s Homicide Unit apprehended and formally charged 73-year-old Kenneth Muse, a resident of Louisville, in connection with a homicide case in the Fourth Division.
Muse faces one count of Murder and will be held at Louisville Metro Corrections pending further legal proceedings.
The incident unfolded around 5:10 a.m. when officers from LMPD’s Fourth Division responded to a distress call at the Friendship House located in the 900 block of S. Fourth Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female inside an apartment, having sustained apparent stab wounds. Despite emergency medical intervention, the victim succumbed to her injuries.
The Homicide Unit has assumed control of the investigation, although at present, there are no additional suspects identified in connection with the case.
