LMPD’s Homicide Unit, supported by their Fugitive Unit, has apprehended an additional suspect linked to homicide case on June 18, 2024

Louisville, KY – According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the fatal incident unfolded at the Greenwood Boat Ramp in Louisville’s Third Division, located on Greenwood Road in the 8200 block.

Authorities successfully arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile on July 1, 2024, without any resistance, as he was wanted on an active warrant.

The juvenile faces serious charges including Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Assault 1st, and Possession of a Handgun by a Minor.

The arrest marks a significant step forward in the ongoing investigation into the tragic events that transpired earlier this month.

LMPD continues to dedicate resources to ensure justice is served in this case.
