This brave woman, Danielle, is aware of the side effects of living with Asperger’s syndrome, but she wants everyone else to be too. The 24-year-old woman posted a video of her service dog Samson. In the video, the pooch is doing something unimaginable. The woman, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome many years ago, reportedly met the 4-year-old dog while volunteering at HALO animal rescue, where she trained the animals.
After adopting him, Danielle immediately started training him for service work for Asperger’s syndrome, PTSD, TBI and anxiety disorder. Per reports, in the video, the woman who is living with Asperger syndrome (an autism spectrum disorder) shows how her dog helped her through an emotional breakdown. The woman was crying in the bathroom, hurting herself, but she was not alone.
Her service dog was on high alert. He was trained to deal with this kind of situations. ‘I trained him to alert to depressive episodes and self-harm not both but he alerted. It appears the response is late but it’s actually supposed to be as I’m coming out of the meltdown as I tend to have a panic attack after,’ wrote the woman in the video’s description.
The pair has been inseparable ever since and now together they’re spreading awareness about Asperger’s syndrome. Dear readers, we are republishing this story to raise awareness about the Asperger syndrome.
