The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a woman was injured in a shooting

Louisville, KY – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Newburg Road. Louisville Metro Police Department’s Sixth Division responded to the shooting call.

When Louisville Metro Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult female who had been shot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life threatening.

Louisville Metro Police Department investigators don’t have any information about a possible suspect in the shooting.  Louisville Metro Police Department’s Sixth Division will investigate this case.
