Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after an early-morning shooting kills one man

Louisville, KY – According to the police report, this unfortunate incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday near the Buechel neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of Norfolk Drive.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they located a man in his early-to-mid 20s who had been shot.

Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene and police said the shooting appeared to have happened outside.

Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
