A Voter The Trump Campaign Claimed Was Dead Laces Into The President As Fraud Claims Crumble

With the Trump’s campaign’s allegations that dead people voted in the 2020 election being debunked one by one, one of the accused who is very much alive, Deborah Jean Christiansen, ripped the campaign for the conspiracy theory and scolded President Trump for not focusing more on the pandemic.

KEY FACTS

In an interview with CNN, Christiansen—who voted for President-elect Joe Biden after casting her ballot for Trump in 2016—called the claim “just ridiculous” and said the president “should be worried more about taking care of people, with this Covid-19 going on.”

The Trump campaign first floated the conspiracy theory last week in a string of tweets listing people they claimed were dead and voted in the election, including Christiansen, and several of the allegations were amplified by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.
